Off the back of singles 'Mess Around' featuring Earthgang and 'Motor in the Sand' following the emerging Australia-based artists 2022 debut EP The Year Of February, Forest Claudette has revealed latest single, 'Two Years', alongside the announcement of their sophomore EP, Everything Was Green, out June 16.

The introspective stream-of-consciousness anthem finds Forest conflicted between suburban every-day life and dream chasing, with the artist's silky R&B melodies and lush layered harmonies floating over celestial synths, striking drum loops, and echoing guitar trills, arriving alongside a visual directed by Grey Ghost that playfully captures traditional white picket fence suburbia.

“I started writing ‘Two Years’ around the same time I wrote ‘Gone Without A Trace’," Forest opens up about the new track. "I remember I was grappling with the idea of how to listen to myself or choose myself and not feel like a selfish a**hole. It was the beginning of understanding my brain better and learning to communicate differently and with more authenticity. A lot of time passed between the initial idea and the session that lead to it sounding the way it does now. That time really helped me come to terms with the feelings I captured in the initial demo, and with the help of Gabe and JAHS, allowed me to focus on them from a place of clarity.”
